What will happen?

What will happen when I'm born,
in a whole new world?
Will my hair be black and straight,
or will it be full of curls?

What will happen when I'm five,
learning how to read?
I'm a very clever girl,
and sure that I'll succeed.

What will happen when I'm ten,
playing a difficult game?
Will that brilliant game of mine,
lead me into fame?

What will happen when I'm fifteen,
playing the guitar?
Will my brilliant guitar skills,
help me be a star?

What will happen when I'm twenty,
writing a huge test?
I'm wondering whether I'll pass or fail,
but hoping for the best.

I cannot imagine what will happen after this,
for life is very long.
but maybe I can play the guitar,
along with a song!
