My Paper Boat

I wished with all my heart,
that the rain would go away.
For I wanted to float my paper boat,
which I made the other day.

Here is how I made it:
First I took an origami book, which had the instructions to make my paper boat.
I sat down and worked real hard,
I hoped it would be something worth to gloat.

I folded and folded with all my might.
Then I went to a puddle, to watch my paper boat sail away and go.
It was an experiment I would never forget,
oh no!

The Mystery of the Missing Hairbands

I woke up one Saturday morning,
ready for some fun.
I couldn't wait to spread the strange news,
to everyone.

I quickly got ready and combed my hair, but,
all my hairbands weren't there!
now I would be late for school,
it was so unfair!

My hair was rather short, so I couldn't tie it-
the missing hairbands went from bad to worse.
All the hairbands were missing,
even the ones in my mother's purse!

So, the next day my father went to the store,
to buy some hairbands, which he put in a box.
But, the next day I opened the box filled with hairbands,
and, they were lost!

My Imaginary Animal

My imaginary animal will be a dark shade of red,
and gray will be its tail.
It will have bread crumbs for its teeth,
and it will blow out hail!

My imaginary animal will be the size of a house,
and there will be pencil shavings on its back.
Its hair will be purple and blue,
and there will be watermelons on his head (about a lakh)

My imaginary animal will have yellow paint on its toes,
and pink pens on its stomach.
I wish my imaginary animal was real,
then I would name him Lumac.
