In the middle of the year a new girl came to my class,
and she looked very pleasant and nice.
For she had an amiable face,
and was the proud owner of three white mice!
She was wearing sea green tights,
and a bizarre, magenta shirt.
She was wearing multicolored glasses,
and a candy shaded skirt!
She said her name was Dona,
and she was enormously tall.
Her hair was curly, long and red
though her hands and feet were small
But next week Dona had to leave,
but I wasn't very sad.
for I was scared of her white mice
so I was rather glad!
